Your shift, step by step.
SitSoon is for authorised Host and Manager staff using Android phones and tablets. Sign in with the username and password provided by your venue. Your business assigns your access and role.
- Add the party. Use Add Party to enter a first name, phone number and party size. Add a seating preference when enabled, and a short operational note if it helps the team.
- Find the right fit. Open Filters for All, Indoor or Outdoor seating and the All, 1–2, 3–4 or 5+ party-size groups. Either parties appear in both Indoor and Outdoor results. Arrival order is preserved within each queue section.
- Send the table-ready text. Tap Notify when a table is ready. You can send one Follow-up after the first notice. Repeated taps are protected against duplicate notifications, and a follow-up keeps the original notified timer.
- Finish the visit. Use Seat when the party arrives. Use Remove and confirm if they leave the queue. Timers help staff decide; SitSoon does not automatically remove a party when time runs out.
The updated queue
Read the state at a glance.
Each card keeps its status and elapsed time visible. Colour adds another cue to the words on the card.
- Waiting
- A neutral card shows a party still waiting to be notified.
- Notified · yellow
- The first table-ready notification has been sent. The notified timer shows how long ago.
- Follow-up · red
- A follow-up has been sent. Both notification timers remain visible. Red identifies the follow-up state; it does not mean the SMS failed.
Give Needs Attention a look
Failed SMS, guest cancellations, other guest replies and sync issues stay visible until resolved or acknowledged. Use Review where offered to open private details, and Acknowledge after reviewing an eligible item. A guest reply never confirms a table.
Good to know.
Where are History and Statistics?
Open History in the queue header for Activity and Past Parties. Open More, then Stats, for Statistics with Day, 7 days and 30 days views. Both Host and Manager staff can use these screens. Settings is available to Managers.
History shows recent activity and past parties; it is not a complete archive. The privacy policy explains service retention.
What if a message fails or the queue is out of date?
Review the persistent Needs Attention item and check your connection. For a failed SMS, open the party’s private details and check the phone number. Do not assume a guest has received a message just because an action was tapped.
If the issue continues, contact support with the action, approximate time and any error wording, leaving out guest information.
How do guest replies work?
Guests can reply with a cancellation keyword such as C to leave the waitlist. Other replies may appear as a persistent attention item for staff to review. Replies do not confirm a table.
Waitlist-added, table-ready and follow-up messages use your venue’s name, so guests know which cafe is contacting them.
How do I get access or update the app?
Ask your manager for the approved installation or testing route and your assigned account. SitSoon does not offer public account creation. Use your venue’s approved Google Play route for Play-distributed updates.
If access changes or sign-in fails, check with your manager or contact support. Include your app version and installation source.
Can I book a table or join the queue here?
Speak to the venue’s staff to join their waitlist. This website provides staff support and privacy information; it cannot book a table or add a party. Guests do not need a SitSoon account or app.
How do I request guest-data deletion or remove staff access?
Guests can email support to request access to or deletion of their waitlist data. Staff should ask their manager or support about account offboarding. We may need to verify the request. See the privacy policy for details.
